Lisa Griffin Vincent (LGV), the milliner and creator of the brand, is both a scientist and an artist -- a contradiction to the dichotomy of the right and left brain. Lisa began designing and creating her own hats to augment a growing vintage collection. Upon this foundation, she studied traditional techniques under the Master Milliner, Anya Caliendo, in New York.

LGV's work is influenced by nature, the arts, and interesting objects of everyday life. Inspired through world travel and diving under the deep blue sea, she is intrigued by how beings interact with each other and their surroundings.
